Flash Player environment Player files and locations Adobe Flash Player is normally deployed as a browser plug-in or ActiveX control. For each player environ-ment, two versions of Flash Player are available—a “Content Debugger” version for developers, and a “Release” version for end users. Adobe Flash Player or Shockwave Flash is a piece of software that provides support for multimedia playback. Whether it's audio, video or gaming related, chances are that Flash Player is needed. The player uses AMF, XML, JSON, SWF, MP3, FLV, PNG, JPEG and GIF formats.

Note: RealPlayer 10.5 is not supported on Windows NT, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (the 64-bit OS), or Microsoft Windows Vista. If you need to install RealPlayer on Windows NT, you will need to download RealPlayer 10 from the Real Legacy Software Archive.

Note: Although some functions of the RealPlayer may work with Mozilla Firefox and Windows Server 2003 operating systems, neither is officially supported. Real Networks does not guarantee functionality with Mozilla Firefox or and Windows Server 2003 at this time.

Note: For playback of Windows Media and QuickTime, you must have Windows Media Player 6.0 or later and QuickTime 5.0 or later installed on your computer.

Adobe Flash Player & Reader Requirements

Adobe Flash Player may be required for viewing some Training Courses and Tests on the PureSafety system. Adobe Reader is required for viewing and printing Training Materials and Diplomas. Other browsers might also work, but we do not attempt to resolve problems with browser/platform combinations other than those listed above. Browsers that have been developed to comply with the W3C guidelines and specifications, including mobile browsers, should operate successfully.
