Paddy Power Limits
While going through the very laborious, but necessary process of reviewing and updating all table bet limits across listed live casinos, some rather large changes have been noted.
Paddy Power Deposit Limits
Paddy power is arguably one of the most famous names in the UK and Ireland. The bookie joined the gaming industry in 1988 and online space in 2000. The bookie comprises a sportsbook, a casino, bingo, poker, fantasy, and several other entertainment online punters can enjoy. Some of the Playtech powered live casinos in particular have increased their limits noticeably.
Makes sense I guess. Many of these games and tables have seen a major overhaul over the last year or so; both in physical location, design, and user interface. Why not adjust the limits as well?
Historically Playtech tables, both all-access and private, have had relatively low limits compared with other platforms. Not exactly sure why this has been the case, given the size of the companies licensing the tables. But is seems this is now changing.
The shared private tables at Paddy Power and Betfair are a good example of this.
Paddy Power Betfair VIP Roulette
The information spiel on VIP Roulette at Betfair’s reads,
“…for those that really are high rolling VIPs, the table maximum is a heady £80,000. This includes an upper limit of £200 straight up bets and £4,000 for outside options such as red/black.”
£80K a spin is the kind of maximum bet that wold have most high rollers well and truly covered indeed. But this isn’t the table’s maximum bet. The marketing copy is a little behind the real state of play.
As you can see below from a screen shot taken yesterday, the table max is actually €/£ 200,000.
Straight up bets to €/£1,000 are possible, and you can place €/£10,000 straight up bets.

Fortunately, the same table also lets you play with as little as €1 per spin, so the rest of us don’t have to feel excluded.
The limits review should be completed by the end of next week, by which time we’ll have a nice picture of who has the highest and lowest limits across the major live games.
